Coronavirus Update – Continued Service

I am here for all of my clients, and I will continue to look after you and your financial planning throughout these challenging times.

Many providers have made changes to procedures to help reduce any barriers to your financial planning.

Some equity release lenders are offering semi-automated valuations which means the surveyor will not have to visit a client’s home, removing concerns about possible exposure to individuals outside their household.

The Equity Release Council have agreed to temporarily revise the legal advice rules, meaning that Solicitors can provide their legal advice in writing and follow up with a video or telephone call.

Mental capacity assessments can be done remotely subject to clients having the right technology with webcam to be assessed.

There have been many changes as a result of the Coronavirus Act, which have a significant impact on Adult Social Care, Hospital Discharge and NHS Continuing Healthcare Assessments.

For individuals or families that need help navigating any of the above changes to find the most appropriate solution for their loved ones, feel free to schedule a call with me (via Zoom, Facetime, Skype or telephone – whichever is your preference) for a chat about your situation.

For clients that do not require formal advice but need some time to discuss a situation or receive some guidance I offer my time via a 30-minute call for £75 or a 60-minute call for £175.

The cost of the call is payable at the time of booking.  Many clients have said these calls are useful to have time to discuss their situations and be guided to other services or other professionals for legal advice or care provision because not all clients need formal financial advice but they appreciate a professional to discuss their situation with.
