Care Planning should be part of financial planning and discussed throughout retirement so that when and if the time comes where care is needed clients will be better informed of the care system and avoid making decisions at a time of crisis. The level of Care needs to be appropriate for an individual as well as financially sustainable and specialist advice is paramount in order for this to be the case.
I am a specialist in this area and I cover the non-regulated (care and benefits advice, later life care and housing options, Continuing Healthcare funding eligibility, local authority funding for care) and the regulated aspects of cares fees planning advice (how to fund the care costs) to ensure clients receive a comprehensive service that is appropriate for them.
I work in partnership with various professionals to deliver an integrated support to clients who need to think about and plan for care and support services.
I offer a referral service to other financial advisers who are not specialists in Care, should you wish to discuss this service please get in touch.
